It’s Monday, what are you reading?—a weekly blog meme hosted by Sheila at Book Journey.
I made it! It’s winter break and I am off work this week, spending it in Wisconsin with family. I have some great books I brought along with me! If you are a regular reader of this blog, though, you know that I’m not the best reader on vacations and family visits… but I was strategic in my choices (very short books) and feel optimistic I’ll finish them both.
On my iPad-mini I’ll be reading Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie’s We Should All Be Feminists, the speech she gave at a 2013 TED event. And I just got Citizen: An American Lyric by Claudia Rankine in the mail—I’ve read really strong, positive reviews of this one.
Also, for the drive, I downloaded three audiobooks to choose from (we’ll probably only listen to one or two all the way through):
- The Ocean at the End of the Lane … Neil Gaiman
- Shovel Ready … Adam Sternbergh
- All the Birds, Singing … Evie Wyld
What are you reading this week?
Wishing you a happy reading week and a joyful holiday!

Thanks, you too!
I’m reading The Girl With All The Gifts and NOS4A2.
I just finished The Girl With All the Gifts recently and loved it! I hope you are enjoying it.
