It’s Monday, what are you reading?—a weekly blog meme hosted by Sheila at Book Journey.
It’s a new week and new books for me, finally! I feel like I’ve been reading the same books for a long time… well, I was reading 11/22/63 for two months, and then a bunch of stuff in between. But, after finishing that and everything else over the weekend, I’m ready to start a new book to end the year.
I decided to go ahead with Margaret Atwood’s MaddAddam. I started the trilogy this year, and I really want to finish it this year, too. Plus I’ve heard this final installment is better the closer you read it to the other two.
Otherwise, we’re roadtrippin’ for the holidays this week, and have a few audiobooks in the queue:
- Invisible Monsters … Chuck Palahniuk
- Rabid … Wasik/Murphy
- Tenth of December … George Saunders
- Escape from Camp 14 … Blaine Harden
I don’t think we’ll get to all of these, but probably two of them at least. I’ll probably listen to more next week during my commutes to/from a gig I have on the other side of the metro.
What are you reading this week?
I’m still reading A Tale For The Time Being. I’m going to start this trilogy next year with the first book. Have a great time reading and enjoy the holidays!
That one is on my radar, perhaps I’ll get to it in 2014. Happy reading!
I’m picking up cozy crime and PNR at the moment, none of which demand very much.
Merry Christmas
Reads like that are perfect for the holidays! 🙂
