Happy Wednesday, or as we like to call it, KCMetropolis Day! I’m pretty well booked up this month with the holiday coming up, family visits, and my own gigs, so I was only able to review one concert for KCM in November. On Friday night I heard pianist Jonathan Biss perform at the Folly Theater on the Friends of Chamber Music’s series. I think he’s a great young player, very expressive and fluid—and I liked his first Schumann selection and Berg sonata the best. Read my full review on KCMetropolis.org: Complex sonatas, contrasting emotions

And there is lots more KC metro performing arts coverage to find on KCMetropolis.org today, too! Thanks for reading.
